- _pppp_kkkk_gggg_mmmm_kkkk produces an installable package to be used as input to the _pppp_kkkk_gggg_aaaa_dddd_dddd
- command. The package contents will be in directory structure format.
-
- The command uses the package _pppp_rrrr_oooo_tttt_oooo_tttt_yyyy_pppp_eeee file as input and creates a _pppp_kkkk_gggg_mmmm_aaaa_pppp
- file. The contents for each entry in the _pppp_rrrr_oooo_tttt_oooo_tttt_yyyy_pppp_eeee file is copied to the
- appropriate output location. Information concerning the contents
- (checksum, file size, modification date) is computed and stored in the
- _pppp_kkkk_gggg_mmmm_aaaa_pppp file, along with attribute information specified in the _pppp_rrrr_oooo_tttt_oooo_tttt_yyyy_pppp_eeee
- file.
-
- _----_oooo Overwrites the same instance, package instance will be
- overwritten if it already exists.
-
- _----_dddd _d_e_v_i_c_e Creates the package on _d_e_v_i_c_e. _d_e_v_i_c_e can be a full
- pathname to a directory or the identifiers for a floppy
- disk or removable disk (for example, _////_dddd_eeee_vvvv_////_dddd_iiii_ssss_kkkk_eeee_tttt_tttt_eeee). The
- default device is the installation spool directory.
-
- _----_rrrr _r_o_o_t_p_a_t_h Ignores destination paths in the _pppp_rrrr_oooo_tttt_oooo_tttt_yyyy_pppp_eeee file. Instead,
- uses the indicated _r_o_o_t_p_a_t_h with the source pathname
- appended to locate objects on the source machine.
-
- _----_bbbb _b_a_s_e_d_i_r Prepends the indicated _b_a_s_e_d_i_r to locate relocatable
- objects on the source machine.
-
- _----_llll _l_i_m_i_t Specifies the maximum size in 512 byte blocks of the
- output device as _l_i_m_i_t. By default, if the output file is
- a directory or a mountable device, _pppp_kkkk_gggg_mmmm_kkkk will employ the
- _dddd_ffff command to dynamically calculate the amount of
- available space on the output device. Useful in
- conjunction with _pppp_kkkk_gggg_tttt_rrrr_aaaa_nnnn_ssss to create package with
- datastream format.
-
- _----_aaaa _a_r_c_h Overrides the architecture information provided in the
- _pppp_kkkk_gggg_iiii_nnnn_ffff_oooo file with _a_r_c_h.
-
- _----_vvvv _v_e_r_s_i_o_n Overrides version information provided in the _pppp_kkkk_gggg_iiii_nnnn_ffff_oooo file
- with _v_e_r_s_i_o_n.
-
- _----_pppp _p_s_t_a_m_p Overrides the production stamp definition in the _pppp_kkkk_gggg_iiii_nnnn_ffff_oooo
- file with _p_s_t_a_m_p.

-
-
-
- _----_ffff _p_r_o_t_o_t_y_p_e Uses the file _p_r_o_t_o_t_y_p_e as input to the command. The
- default name for this file is either _PPPP_rrrr_oooo_tttt_oooo_tttt_yyyy_pppp_eeee or
- _pppp_rrrr_oooo_tttt_oooo_tttt_yyyy_pppp_eeee.
-
- _v_a_r_i_a_b_l_e=_v_a_l_u_e Places the indicated variable in the packaging
- environment. [See _pppp_rrrr_oooo_tttt_oooo_tttt_yyyy_pppp_eeee(4) for definitions of
- packaging variables.]
-
- _p_k_g_i_n_s_t Specifies the package by its instance. _pppp_kkkk_gggg_mmmm_kkkk will
- automatically create a new instance if the version and/or
- architecture is different. A user should specify only a
- package abbreviation; a particular instance should not be
- specified unless the user is overwriting it.
-
- SSSSEEEEEEEE AAAALLLLSSSSOOOO
- _pppp_kkkk_gggg_pppp_aaaa_rrrr_aaaa_mmmm(1), _pppp_kkkk_gggg_pppp_rrrr_oooo_tttt_oooo(1), _pppp_kkkk_gggg_tttt_rrrr_aaaa_nnnn_ssss(1).
